A Record 64 EXOS-Supported Athletes Selected in the 2014 NFL Draft

EXOS is proud to have supported a record 64 athletes selected in the 2014 NFL Draft, which is equal to 25% of this year's entire NFL Draft class and breaks EXOS' previous record of 63 set in the 2012 NFL Draft. The 64 athletes drafted began when Jadeveon Clowney was taken as the first overall pick by the Houston Texans and finished when Lavelle Westbrooks was selected as the 252nd overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals. EXOS has now supported 523 total NFL Draft picks since 2001.

“There were a lot of different tools at EXOS than what I had in college,” said Clowney. “I couldn’t wait to train each day as all the workouts really helped me.”

During their Combine and Pro Day preparations, athletes experienced daily strength, power, and speed training, along with personalized nutrition, physical therapy, and recovery services, position-specific work, mindset training, and Combine-specific preparations for team interviews and the Wonderlic test.

"Mechanics wise, footwork wise, everything on and off the field, was really the tipping point for me to choose EXOS," said Blake Bortles, the third overall selection by the Jacksonville Jaguars. "The attention to detail I experienced at EXOS was more than I've seen anywhere else, and I think that's why EXOS produces the athletes that it does."

EXOS saw 11 athletes taken in the first round, including the first three overall picks, 22 total athletes selected through the second and third rounds on day two, and 31 athletes drafted on the final day in the fourth through seventh rounds.

EXOS is honored to have supported these 64 drafted athletes for their Combine and Pro Day performances and wishes each of them the best of luck as they look to continue their careers in the NFL.
