Athletes' Performance Partners with Kinesio Capture

Athletes’ Performance is proud to announce a new partnership with Kinesio Capture, a comprehensive motion capture tool that enables real-time video analysis for coaches to use with athletes.
Utilizing the Kinesio Capture application on the iPad and iPhone, Athletes’ Performance specialists will be able to capture athletes performing a multitude of exercises and training movements from various angles and in various areas of the training facility quickly and easily, without interrupting the coaching process.
“This is a great tool that will provide our coaches with the ability to easily capture and share valuable video analysis and feedback with our athletes to enhance their training,” said Craig Friedman, vice president of the performance innovation team at Athletes’ Performance. “Utilizing the Kinesio Capture application on our coaches’ iPads and iPhones allows us to place an incredibly effective coaching tool in the palm of their hands whether they’re coaching at one of our facilities or supporting a team anywhere in the world.”
Kinesio Capture will provide video analysis of the quality of an athlete’s movement patterns, allowing coaches, athletic trainers, and physical therapists the ability to share visual feedback and coaching cues instantly with the athlete.
“The true power of Kinesio Capture is in the hands of the user. Athletes’ Performance is the gold standard around the world for cutting-edge performance training and there is no organization that we feel more confident in to showcase the true power of Kinesio Capture than Athletes’ Performance,” said David Gottfeld, president of Kinesio Capture. “Coaches must be able to communicate with their athletes in multiple ways in order to help them be successful. Kinesio Capture was developed for just that purpose. It allows the coach to capture and visually review both efficient and inefficient movement patterns as they happen, on the spot and in that moment in time”.
