A Record 54 Athletes Supported by Athletes’ Performance Taken in the 2011 NFL Draft
Athletes’ Performance is proud to have supported a record 54 athletes selected in the 2011 NFL Draft. The record 54 athletes drafted began when Marcell Dareus, DT, Alabama, was taken with the third overall pick by the Buffalo Bills and finished when Jonathan Nelson, S, Oklahoma, was selected as the 229th pick in the seventh round by the St. Louis Rams.
Athletes’ Performance also saw a record 14 athletes taken in the first round, with a total of 33 athletes selected during the first three rounds.
Wisconsin’s J.J. Watt, who was drafted 11th overall by the Houston Texans, said of his training at Athletes’ Performance, “Athletes’ Performance is the premiere training facility in the United States for athletes who are trying to succeed at the highest level. The Combine/Pro Day training program at Athletes’ Performance is second to none.”
