Argentina Rugby Union
Athletes’ Performance and the Argentina Rugby Union first started a Performance Training partnership in 2008 when Athletes’ Performance helped prepare the Pumas of Argentina for the 2008 Rugby World Cup. Athletes’ Performance specialists worked with the team staff to customize performance training, nutrition and recovery plans to support individual player needs and the team’s style of play. With the support, the Pumas finished in third place, their highest every finish at the Rugby World Cup. Today, the partnership is focused on education of the Pumas staff so that they can incorporate the performance training, nutrition and recovery systems across all levels of the Pumas rugby program.
Chinese Olympic Committee
Athletes’ Performance and the Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) developed a Performance Training partnership in 2011 to help select Chinese national teams and individual athletes prepare for the 2012 London Olympic games. Supporting athletes with integrated performance training, nutrition, and physical therapy services, Athletes’ Performance works together with Chinese sport coaches to help athletes best prepare for the 2012 Olympics. Athletes’ Performance also provides continuing education to Chinese sports coaches and trainers, as well as consulting services for training facility design.
Estudiantes de La Plata
Athletes’ Performance and Estudiantes de La Plata entered into a Performance Training partnership in 2011 to help prepare the team for success in Argentina’s Primera Division and international play. As part of the partnership, Athletes’ Performance specialists work with the team’s technical staff to develop integrated training, nutrition, and rehabilitation programs customized for each athlete to maximize their daily performance and to meet the tactical and performance goals of the team.
Everton Football Club
Athletes' Performance and the Everton Football Club first started a Performance Training partnership in 2007. The Athletes' Performance team works alongside the Everton Football Club staff to collaborate and ensure that the training services provided support the overall game plan for the team both on and off the field of play, including team and individual training, nutrition, and recovery.
Galatasaray SK
Athletes’ Performance and Galatasaray SK formed a Performance Training partnership in 2011 focused on providing integrated training, nutrition, and recovery services to the team for pre- and in-season performance. Athletes’ Performance specialists will work alongside the Galatasaray SK technical staff to collaborate and ensure that the personalized training plan developed for each player meets both their physical needs and their tactical assignments as identified by the team’s coaching staff. The partnership will help support the team’s goals as they compete against some of the top European club competition as part of Turkey’s Spor Toto Super League and look to advance to other top European club leagues and championships.
German Men's National Soccer Team (DFB)
Athletes' Performance and the German men's national soccer team (DFB) first joined in a Performance Training partnership in 2005 in preparation for Germany's participation in the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Since the national team's impressive third place finish in the World Cup, Athletes' Performance has continued to be the training partner for the national team's performance training and nutrition needs, including the preparation leading up to their second place finish at the 2008 European Championships and their third place finish at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Los Angeles Dodgers
Athletes’ Performance and the Los Angeles Dodgers, who first started working together in 2008, have entered into a new groundbreaking Performance Training and Physical Therapy partnership. The new partnership sees Sue Falsone, Vice President, Performance Physical Therapy and Team Sports for Athletes’ Performance, become the Dodgers’ head physical therapist and athletic trainer and the first woman to hold such a position in any major men’s professional league. In addition to Sue Falsone’s role with the team, Athletes’ Performance will also be working with the Dodgers to build and implement a program of player physical development across minor and major league systems.
Los Angeles Galaxy
Athletes’ Performance and the Los Angeles Galaxy first started a Performance Training partnership in 2008. The Athletes’ Performance team works alongside the Los Angeles Galaxy staff to collaborate and ensure that training services support the individual needs of the players to best fit the team’s strategic and performance goals. Athletes’ Performance staff support the team’s performance on and off the field, providing performance training, nutrition, and recovery strategies.
Polish Football Association (PZPN)
Athletes’ Performance and the Polish Football Association entered into a Performance Training partnership in 2011 to help prepare the team for the 2012 European Championship. As part of the partnership, Athletes’ Performance specialists work together with the team’s technical staff during training camps and matches, providing players with integrated performance, nutrition and recovery strategies to support their on-field performance.
Sporting Kansas City
Athletes’ Performance and Sporting Kansas City (formerly the Kansas City Wizards) first started a Performance Training partnership in 2010. The Athletes’ Performance team works alongside the Sporting Kansas City staff to collaborate and ensure that training services support the individual needs of the players to best fit the team’s strategic and performance goals. Athletes’ Performance staff support the team’s performance on and off the field, providing performance training, nutrition, and recovery strategies.
Toronto Football Club
Athletes’ Performance and the Toronto Football Club started a Performance Training partnership in 2011. The Athletes’ Performance team works alongside the Toronto Football Club staff to collaborate and ensure that training services support the individual needs of the players to best fit the team’s strategic and performance goals. Athletes’ Performance staff supports the team’s performance on and off the field, providing performance training, nutrition, and recovery strategies on a daily practice and match-day basis.
